What Will Saunders & Co Do For The Sukumo Investors Association?

• This matter will be handled by the Litigation Team - Robin Lloyds, Chris Corney and Gemma Murray. They will:
• Assist with setting up the Association including receiving and sorting the Membership Forms
• Retain subscription funds collected from the Association's members in the firm's client account until expenditure is authorised by the Steering Committee
• Receive instructions from and report to the Steering Committee
• Represent the Association in discussions with the authorities in the US and UK and any other relevant jurisdiction
• Co-ordinate investigations into possible targets for legal action
• Obtain advice from senior London commercial counsel on the merits of possible courses of action
• At the conclusion of investigations prepare a Report setting out advice on the possible courses of action open to defrauded investors, including information on the chances of success, the possible level of recovery and the potential costs involved.
• If Saunders & Co's Report concludes that there is a claim worth pursuing, Saunders & Co will offer its services to any group of investors who wishes to pursue litigation.

What Will It Cost?

• Saunders & Co have agreed to assist the Sukumo Investment Association free of charge for the initial stages of taking instructions and setting up the Association.
• Saunders & Co have also agreed that whilst investigations are ongoing its lawyers will provide up to 100 hours of lawyers' time at a discounted rate. It is anticipated that 100 hours will be sufficient to prepare the Report, but this may be extended if further lines of enquiry open up.
• Saunders & Co will provide detailed breakdowns of all work done to the Steering Committee, and all expenditure will be authorised by the Steering Committee on behalf of the Association.

What Can You Do to Assist?

• Please keep the documentation you have proving what happened, including any bank statements showing the payments you made - this is potentially important evidence and it may be requested by lawyers in due course.
• Please complete the Membership Form carefully as this will provide useful information to commence initial investigations.
• Please adhere to the rules on communications in the Rules of the Sukumo Investors Association so that resources are used efficiently and to avoid confusion.
